Biographical Sketch:

Christopher Wilson, graduated from St. Catherine’s College, Cambridge, England and Episcopal Theological School, Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Ordained deacon, 1960 and priest, 1961.  Assistant curate of Morden Parish Church, London and moved to the United States in 1963 to first serve as junior assistant, assistant and later Chief Chaplain Resident of the Medical College of Virginia.  Rector of the Parish of Holy Trinity Church, Merlin; St. Paul’s, Erieau, and Christ Church, Ouvry in 1965.

Scope and Content:

Fonds consists of a paper titled, “An Internship in Parish History”, which analyses post graduate professional training and whether assistant curates are an integral part of the educational process.  Copied reports on post-ordination training and the role of assistant curates.  List of deacons ordained and places and durations of assistantships in the Diocese of Toronto from 1964-1968.
