Administrative History:
The Fellowship of Deaconesses was formed in 1959. Its purpose was to deepen spiritual life of Deaconesses, to provide contact with the General Synod Committee on Women’s Work, to provide official representation of the order and to spread the knowledge and increase understanding of the order.
Custodial History:
Collection acquired by the Archives from Barbara Steen in 1976.
Scope and Content:
Fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, essays and reports. Includes a draft copy of the Church Workers Association for the Anglican Church.
