Biographical Sketch:

Ranna Cossitt (1744-1815) studied theology in England and began his ministry with the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel at Claremont.  Ministered in Sydney, Cape Breton and  joined the colony’s Executive Council, 1786-1805.  Inducted as rector in Yarmouth in 1807.
