The Book of Alternative Services at 25

To mark the 25th anniversary of the Book of Alternative Services (BAS) in 2010, the Faith, Worship, and Ministry Department has collected essays from Anglicans who were instrumental in creating these contemporary liturgies.

• HUMAN SEXUALITY : A STATEMENT BY THE ANGLICAN BISHOPS OF CANADA – 1997
  MISSISSAUGA , Ont. (Oct. 30, 1997) — Canada ‘s Anglican bishops, meeting here this week, approved the following statement which updates their 1979 guidelines dealing with the ordination of homosexual persons and pastoral relationship with the homosexual community. The statement was drafted by a task force and adopted with near unanimity, without change.
