The National Worship Conference is a biennial conference sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada and the Anglican Church of Canada. The Conference welcomes participation by clergy and laity of these two churches as well as clergy and laity from other churches who seek to build up the life of the Christian community through our worship so that we might serve the world God loves.
This year’s theme, ‘Taking Care of the Neighbourhood: Worship as Public Work for the Common Good’, will guide us as we explore how worship shapes us to care for our communities and our world.
Come join us for four days in Vancouver with dynamic and creative speakers, worship, and workshops at the upcoming National Worship Conference. This year’s speakers include Sallie McFague, Doug Todd, Mark MacDonald, and Karen Ward as well as skilled workshop facilitators.

Anglican Identity and Worship: A Statement and Study Questions from the International Anglican Liturgical Consultation
It has been said that if you want to learn about who Anglicans are and what we believe, you need to worship with us. What does our worship life say about who we are and are called to be, how we understand the Gospel, and what are our core theological affirmations? The 2005 meeting of the International Anglican Liturgical Consultation offers its thoughts on the question of Anglican identity, and invites worshipping communities to reflect on the particularity of their own identities in relationship with others across culture and context.
