Use one of these suggested sources for prayer on a Sunday:

+Fast

Consider missing one or more meals, as you are able, to be in solidarity with this action and as a way of strengthening your prayer.

There are many resources, online and in print, to help you prepare spiritually and physically for fasting. Consult with your clergy, or start with this website.

A Day of Prayer, Fasting and Witness for the Millennium Development Goals

On September 25, world leaders gathered at the United Nations in New York to re-energize the world’s commitment to the Millennium Development Goals.

On that day, Canadian Anglicans and Lutherans lead an ecumenical walk in Ottawa to witness for an end to the scandal of global poverty and hunger.

We were invited to join in solidarity with people of faith the world over in prayer and action.
