Anglican Consultative Council

The Anglican Consultative Council (ACC) gathers representative lay people, clerics, and bishops from the Anglican Communion’s 38 provinces. They meet every two to three years to coordinate common action and share information among the provinces.

This website is a hub for news and commentary on the council’s 2009 meeting, from May 1 to 13 in Kingston, Jamaica.

The current Canadian representatives are

  • Suzanne Lawson (lay person, Diocese of Toronto)
  • The Rev. Dr. Stephen Andrews (bishop-elect, Diocese of Algoma)
  • Bishop Sue Moxley (diocesan bishop, Diocese of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island)
