Sacred Circles (Formerly called Native Convocations) Anglican Church of Canada

The first Sacred Circle, then called a Native Convocation, was held in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, from 28 September to 5 October 1988, with the theme "Sharing the Dream". As of the end of 2005 there have been five national Sacred Circles (also called Native Convocations or Anglican Indigenous Circles). A Sacred Circle was tentatively scheduled for 2003 but cancelled due to a shortage of funding.

On 22 June 2002 the Diocese of Rupert's Land held the first diocesan Sacred Circle with the theme "Towards Healing and Reconciliation".

Anglican Video has recorded each of these Sacred Circles and released videos (some with study guides) that are available from the Anglican Book Centre.
