During our recent Deanery Council Meeting several small Conversation Circles took place and the following prayers were submitted:
We pray that we will be faithful and welcoming, continuing to bear fruit as we share the love of Christ. Amen.
We pray that our church continues to grow and continues to be inclusive and accepting of everyone. Amen.
We pray that we remember our calling, our vocation to bear good fruit with compassion and kindness, particularly that we may have a unity that embraces our differences. Amen.
We pray for peace throughout the world. We pray that people will recognize the value of Church and support its work. We keep looking for the light of life. One spark will kindle a flame. Amen.
Gracious God, may we continue to grow in hope, love, and faith and to accept and love others as you have loved us that we may share in the Holy Gospel. Amen.
Heavenly Father, we pray for focus and wisdom in keeping our trust in God, following the path he has set before us, keeping strong in faith, and being disciples of the gospel message to love one another; in Jesus’ name. Amen.
We pray that we remain relevant, growing musically and spiritually, that we learn to love one another and unite in the Gospels, that we listen and we provide guidance and support for the world around us. Amen.
We pray that people wake up in faith, to see what they already have, that they find the friendship of Jesus they have forever. And that those aware and awake in this friendship learn and grow in the sharing of the power of this friendship in Jesus with others. Amen.
