Our heartfelt prayer for our church is that we might be:

• a church that means what it says when we proclaim that our church is one, holy, catholic, and apostolic;
• a church whose members faithfully and creatively live out their baptismal covenant in and for the world;
• a church that holds gently yet robustly to the teaching of the apostles;
• a church whose people, even in the midst of disagreement, recognize and honour one another as fellow members of the body of Christ.

That we may be empowered to deepen action and bear fruit.

Prière pour notre église :

Seigneur Dieu, nous te prions d’éclairer notre Église pour qu’elle soit une source de joie, d’espoir, de vivacité, et un moyen de découvrir le Christ et son amour dans notre quotidien.  Aide-nous à apprendre à nous aimer les uns les autres, comme tu nous aimes. Amen.

You have called us to be the servants of all,
to be the fishers of men, and to sow the seeds of the Gospel.
We pray for the strength to be faithful even when the fields lie fallow,
the seeds seem not to germinate, and the nets we cast are empty.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our risen Lord.
