Gracious God, we give thanks that you have called us together as your church.

Help us, open to your Holy Spirit, to become the church you have called us to be.

We pray that we might continue to grow in love, closer to you and to each other.

Help us to stop looking only inward, but to look outward as well, and to live the love of Christ as ‘fishers of people rather than keepers of aquariums’.

Help us to welcome, love and serve all as brothers and sisters with Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen
