God of all hopefulness, we pray that the Church will continue to take bold steps forward, letting go of the fears of our past to embrace what could be in the imagination of the Holy and enlivening Spirit. Amen.

Loving God, we pray for peace and unity in the Church, for how good and pleasant it is when friends dwell in unity together. We pray for courage to make the sacrifices we need to grow as friends with each other, that our lives may give glory to God always and draw all people to you, in the name of Christ we pray. Amen.

Beloved and Holy One who calls us beloved, continue to break down the barriers we’ve placed between the separated branches of your Church so that we may accept all people for who they are as beloved and chosen ones of God, and see no divisions. Give us courage to hold the poor, the vulnerable and needy within our reach that we may all walk together into your loving embrace. Amen.
