Dear Lord: We give you thanks for how your Church reaches beyond itself to build community, to share resources and to spread good news. We praise you for opportunities to participate in ministry of all the baptized and to demonstrate the love of Christ through that ministry.
Give us grace to love and respect the dignity of every human being and to follow through on our baptismal promises. Guide us so to live and speak truth that we live and speak Christ.
We praise you for the one foundation that is the Church – Jesus Christ. Thank you for allowing us to witness new life even in small ways, showing that you still live and are actively creating in and through Jesus Christ. Amen.
