Creator God, We give thanks for the traditional lands of the Nacho Nyak Dun First Nation where we live, worship and find inspiration. We give thanks for those who have gone before to draw us together around the gospel story to serve the wider community, and we give thanks that the community supports our work in so many ways. We pray for forgiveness for the role of the Church in the residential school system, and we pray for healing for those families suffering its effects. Lead us as we walk together on the path to reconciliation, carrying out your Son’s commandment that we love one another. Amen
