It also aims to shift conversation to inspiring faithful living and participation in God’s mission, rather than merely funding a budget.

You can start anywhere or anytime, building on what is in place in your parish to further serve the mission of God in your community.

Quickly head to the Giving Our Thanks & Praise full program guide and planning workbook.

Get started by taking one simple step to inspire others, one to invite generosity, and never forget to give thanks. Prepare a basic narrative budget, inspire others to share stories of giving, and preach sermons on the power of generosity and gratitude.

You have some ways to inspire your congregation. Time to get more co-ordinated with a Giving Team. Invite those who give to hear how their generosity impacts ministry. Thank donors for their gifts.

Take your ministry to the next level with ideas from congregations. Try videos and first-person reports, providing orientation and support for key leadership, and extending your ministry of gratitude.

Praise for Giving our Thanks and Praise

“I ran the program with the congregation on Sundays and it was just great. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and it gave us all something to think of together and at the same time .We had a chance to discuss each week and I was surprised and delighted at the response from people I expected to be silent.

Thanks Ever so much. God bless you for sharing.”

—Rev. Genny Rollins. All Saints, Coniston.
