Monday, May 25 to Saturday, November 28, 2026
Ordinary Time, also known as the Season After Pentecost, comes after the Easter season and lasts until Advent. It is a season for the Church to engage its renewed reality as the resurrected body of Christ empowered by the ongoing presence of the Holy Spirit to keep us active in God’s mission in the world. It is called ‘ordinary’ not because it is not unusual, but rather because the Sundays are ‘ordered’ numerically. The Season of Creation is a time of special devotion to God’s acts in creation and our ministry of care of God’s creation, and takes place midway through Ordinary time, in September.
