The Transformation Task Force supports the work of the General Synod by coordinating and advancing the implementation of the six pathways identified in Creating Pathways for the Transformational Change of the General Synod (PDF), approved by General Synod 2025. These pathways outline priority areas for renewal and strengthened national structures.
The six pathways are:
- Organizational structure
- Management overview and restructuring
- Inclusion and diversity in decision making
- Communications
- Partnership with the Indigenous Church
- Ministry in the North
An implementation team exists for each pathway. Members of the Transformation Task Force participate in one or more implementation teams as liaisons, facilitators or subject matter experts, helping coordinate progress and ensure alignment between the pathways.
