I Intend… discipleship program for groups and individuals
I Intend… is a discipleship program designed to help individuals, small groups or whole parishes grow as disciples of Jesus. Grounded in the Anglican Marks of Mission and the Baptismal Covenant, it supports practical choices in five key areas of life—environment, time, talents, treasure and mental and physical well-being—encouraging participants to live faithfully, generously and intentionally.
Through guided reflection, key questions, discernment exercises and the creation of Intention Statements, participants develop practical spiritual practices that align daily life with Christ’s call. This handbook provides the framework for the program, while a companion workbook offers exercises, checklists and templates for participants to apply the program individually or in a group setting.
For communities ready to build on the personal commitments of I Intend…, the related program We Intend… offers a pathway into shared discipleship and congregational mission.
