Liturgy and Anglican Identity
Liturgy and Anglican Identity is a study resource that introduces the diversity and shared foundations of Anglican worship across the Communion. Developed by the International Anglican Liturgical Consultation, it invites groups to reflect on how liturgy shapes Anglican identity in different cultural and local contexts. Adaptations and study questions were prepared for use in the Anglican Church of Canada.
The resource combines theological reflection with real-world examples of Anglican worship in varied settings. It highlights common values, core elements of Anglican liturgy and the ways worship expresses unity in Christ while honouring local culture, language and practice. A built-in study guide supports parish groups, ministry teams and learners exploring how worship forms community, mission and Christian life.
