The Canadian Lutheran Anglican Youth Gathering (CLAY) brings together youth (ages 14–19) from across Canada for a shared Anglican–Lutheran multi-day gathering of worship, fellowship, learning and faith formation. Hosted jointly by the Anglican Church of Canada and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, CLAY offers an opportunity for young people to deepen their faith, build community and explore Christian discipleship in an ecumenical context.
The Marks of Mission are a set of five commitments that describe how Anglicans participate in God’s mission in the world. Developed through the Anglican Consultative Council and affirmed across the Anglican Communion, they offer a shared framework for proclaiming the gospel, nurturing faith, serving others, pursuing justice and safeguarding creation. In the Anglican Church of Canada, the Marks provide a common language for ministry at every level of the church.
The National Youth Project (NYP) is a program of the Anglican Church of Canada and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, inviting youth and congregations across the country to engage with urgent social issues through learning, reflection, local action and advocacy. Each cycle focuses on a different theme. The current NYP, titled “And it was so”, centres on food insecurity, creation care and community responsibility.

Together they reflect on the meaning of Advent as a season of waiting, hope and preparation for Christ’s coming, drawing on their pilgrimage earlier that year to biblical lands.
