Greening Anglican Spaces

The Partners in Mission and the Ecojustice of General Synod invites you to become green leaders in the Church through the renewal of spirit, community, and creation, and by taking practical steps to green your church building. General Synod 2010 adopted a multi-faceted resolution calling upon all Anglican parishes to develop green plans toward making their buildings more energy efficient and to help members lessen their ecological footprint and pursue more eco-sustainable ways of life. To assist in this transformative work the Anglican Church of Canada is partnering with Faith & the Common Good’s Greening Sacred Spaces program. This interfaith network has worked extensively with over 300 faith communities to help them take a number of “steps to greening.”
