Anglican archival records in Canada are held by diocesan archives across the country. Each diocese is responsible for preserving records created by that diocese, including historical parish registers of baptisms, marriages and burials.
In some cases, diocesan Anglican records are held or accessed through local university or provincial archives. Where applicable, these arrangements are noted through the interactive map below.
The General Synod Archives holds the records of the national office of the Anglican Church of Canada and can assist with directing general inquiries to the appropriate diocesan or partner archive.
