With the beginning of a new liturgical year, we are excited to share a refreshed anglican.ca website.
This work, led by staff in the Communications department, was shaped by consultations with Church House colleagues and stakeholders across the Church and by data-driven analysis of website traffic and engagement patterns. The updated site structure draws on the Transformational Commitments, which are helping to guide our shared mission in a changing world and calling us toward renewed life in Christ. This refreshed website supports that mission with room to grow. As the Transformational Task Force carries forward the work inspired by the Creating Pathways report, anglican.ca will continue to evolve in step with that journey.
Much of the information from the previous site has found its place here, though it may appear in spots regular visitors are not used to. We know it takes time to get your bearings when things change. If you previously navigated anglican.ca by its department-based structure, the following links may help until you become more familiar with the new site:
- The Primate
- General Secretary (as Governance)
- Anglican Healing Fund
- Anglican Journal
- Anglican Military Ordinariate
- Communications and Information Resources (see committee page)
- Council of the North
- Faith, Worship and Ministry (Life in Christ section including The Church Year, along with Ecumenical and interfaith relations, Youth ministries and many items under Resources)
- Financial Management and Administration (see committee page)
- General Synod Archives
- Global Relations (as Supporting ministry across borders)
- Indigenous Ministries
- Public Witness for Social and Ecological Justice (as Pursuing compassion and justice)
- Resources for Mission (now Development, as Faithful giving)
- Truth and Reconciliation
We continue to work behind the scenes—in the coming weeks we will move final pieces of content from the old site and review links on the new site, to ensure that existing bookmarks and external references remain intact.
Feedback is welcome anytime—early in the new year, we will review what has been received and identify next steps for action. Comments may be sent to Henrieta Paukov, Director of Communications.
Our hope is that this refreshed website supports you in ministry, prayer, learning and connection in the year ahead. As we prepare for Christ’s coming, may this renewed online space serve and support you well.
