Partnerships Department and its Partners in Mission Committee (1995-2011) were mandated to reflect upon theological understanding of mission; develop and monitor policies for international and ecumenical partners; develop and promote the Volunteers In Mission (VIM) program; facilitate networks for education and advocacy; and develop policies for overseas appointments.
