Administrative History:

The Brotherhood of Anglican Churchmen (B.A.C.) began in the Diocese of Huron in 1951 when a few laymen formed the first parish chapter to support the church more actively. Later, deanery and diocesan chapters were formed.  By 1976, chapters at the provincial, diocesan and parish levels had spread across Canada. The division of laymen’s work, in promoting the Brotherhood, advises the use of the Lambeth Rule of Life as a statement of personal aims for the group’s members.
