Advent is a season of sacred waiting; in this time, we embrace the dual focus on Christ’s historical incarnation and the hopeful anticipation of His promised return. Here is a selection of resources which might assist you in observing a meaningful Advent.

Advent Cycle of Prayer lifts up congregations, communities and ministries in the Holy Land
“Like living stones let yourselves be built into a spiritual house.” (1 Peter 2:5)
The Churches Beyond Borders Communion has created a Cycle of Prayer for this Advent season, featuring prayers each day for partners in the Holy Land. For the four Sundays of Advent, prayers were written personally by the Presiding/National/Primatial bishops of the four churches, focusing on themes of truth, justice, peace and hope.
