Women’s Leadership Survey
Anglican Church of Canada

Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey. It should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. The data collected will be a valuable addition to our knowledge about women’s lay and ordained leadership in the Anglican Church of Canada.

The data will NOT be identified by individual dioceses, but will be aggregated in order to retain confidentiality.

The survey seeks to hold a mirror up to ourselves, forty-five years after women were first ordained to the priesthood. Since that time Canada has been seen by the global church as a place where women’s leadership is valued. In this survey we seek to discover the extent to which women’s authority has taken root in the Anglican Church of Canada, but also where we need to strengthen women’s leadership.

The results of the survey will be shared with the Council of General Synod (COGS), The Journal and social media, as well as the International Anglican Women’s Network (IAWN), one of our official links to the Anglican Communion. IAWN has expressed great interest in receiving the results, and so we thank you in advance for making this survey possible.

If you have questions, please contact Archdeacon Linda Hill, Executive Archdeacon of the Diocese of Ottawa, and Canada’s Provincial Link for the International Anglican Women’s Network (IAWN). You can reach her at [email protected] or her cell 613-878-9872. She will be happy to answer your questions.
