General Synod Communications announces the publication of a new resource, which explains, in plain language, the stewardship initiatives planned under the Letting Down the Nets document approved by General Synod last year.
The new booklet, entitled Service in God’s world is the same size and format as another booklet published last month, which similarly explains the principal tasks before the church set out in the Framework for ministry and mission also approved by General Synod.
The first booklet was entitled Envision a church.
The two titles are from the sentence contained in the Framework which best sums up the current vision for the Anglican Church of Canada: “We envision a church that is growing in membership, faith and service in God’s world.”
