Archbishop Finlay retired as Metropolitan of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario and Bishop of Toronto last year.

Early this year, Archbishop Hutchison called on him to be his special representative on residential schools issues. As such, he works with General Synod staff and volunteers in support of the Anglican church’s commitment to healing and reconciliation with native people.

He also represents the Primate at a host of gatherings, meetings and functions.

In this segment of the webcast +Andrew: Conversations with the Primate, the two men converse candidly on work in these areas that has been accomplished and on the considerable number of tasks that remain.

+Andrew: Conversations with the Primate is a communications tools Archbishop Hutchison is using to speak to rank-and-file church members in an informal way and to solicit comments and feedback from viewers. The webcasts are taped and produced by Anglican Video and financially assisted by the Anglican Foundation.

The webcasts can be accessed from the home page of the General Synod website (www.anglican.ca) where they can be viewed or downloaded for viewing later or for sharing.

Viewers are invited to respond to the Primate and his occasional guests by emailing him at [email protected]
