Three Path Books publications by Anglican Book Centre (ABC) Publishing have been chosen as part of this fall’s Book of the Month Club selection.
The selected books are Living Scripture by Herbert O’Driscoll, Healing Families by Diane Marshall and Prayer Companion by Judith Lawrence.
The books were presented to the club through Dundurn Press Limited, a local distributor, which distributes Path Books to secular publishing houses.
“Path Books” is an imprint of ABC Publishing and is devoted to “practical spirituality for everyday living,” said Robert Maclennan, publishing manager, ABC Publishing.
The Book of the Month Club is expected to purchase 400 copies of each title selected for the series.
Founded in 1926, Book of the Month Club is one of the best known and most respected book clubs in the world, with over a million members. It serves general interest readers, offering a vast selection of the best new titles in popular fiction, non-fiction, entertainment, self-help, cookbooks and more.
“This is a great opportunity for ABC—we will reach a very diverse group,” said Mr. Maclennan.
Another recent Path Book, Sacred Simplicities by Lori Knusten, recently won the Word Guild, Canadian Christian Writing, Life Stories prize.
