News conference

Archbishop Andrew Hutchison, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, will present the new National Indigenous Bishop to the church at a news conference this morning.

The news conference will be held at the Anglican Church’s national offices at 80 Hayden Street, Toronto, at 10:30 a.m.

The National Indigenous Bishop is a new position created in response to a request made by Indigenous Anglicans in 2005. The bishop will provide pastoral oversight to all Indigenous Anglicans, no matter where in the country they live or in what diocese.
