In the days ahead, this page will serve as the hub of information from the Anglican Church of Canada for resources to help you celebrate the season of Lent through to Holy Week. As resources are added, we will post updates on Facebook and Twitter.

World Council of Churches: Seven Weeks for Water
While water has a strong spiritual significance in the Christian tradition as a gift of God, this scarce resource is threatened and denied to millions around the world. The World Council of Churches Ecumenical Water Network (EWN) invites you to use this season of Lent to reflect on water. Since 2008, the EWN has been providing weekly theological reflections and other resources on water for the seven weeks of Lent and for World Water Day on 22 March.
Reflections, liturgies and other resources will be uploaded to the EWN website every week, starting from 1 March 2017. This year the reflections on water and sanitation will focus on inequality, stigma and discrimination related to water, and the feminisation of water poverty in the context of Africa, among others. Anglican Fellowship of Prayer (Canada)
The Anglican Fellowship of Prayer has prepared a resource for use in parishes during Lent. Clergy are free to use the resource in any way that will work for their parish. Some suggestions including printing it on either side of a letter-size piece of paper as a Sunday insert or handout; cutting and pasting elements into bulletins or newsletters; and adjusting the text so as to advertise service times and posting the final version in shop windows and community bulletin boards.
