General Synod Communications has produced a basic interpretive document for Anglicans wishing to understand the agreement on residential schools the church has reached with the government. Entitled The Agreement in Brief, this document is available as a bulletin insert, brochure, and Web page. It explains in simple terms what the agreement is, the reason it is the best choice for all parties, and what it will achieve.
All three formats have identical text and are now available below and from the residential schools section of the General Synod Web site.
The document is also being printed and may be ordered from General Synod Communications, 600 Jarvis St., Toronto ON, M4Y 2J6; 416-924-9199. Other resources will be produced in coming weeks.
