Canadian Anglicans have until Oct. 1 to submit responses to Vision 2019. Why not join with other parishes in marking Sept. 13 as Vision 2019 Sunday, and use that day to gather as many responses as you can?
Vision 2019 is a church-wide exercise to discern where God wants the Anglican Church of Canada to be in 2019. All voices are welcome, and results will be shared at the next national meeting, General Synod 2010.
It’s easy for your church to mark Sept. 13 as Vision 2019 Sunday. Resources are available on the website, or it can be as simple as having parishioners jot down a prayer during the Prayers of the People, as the Rev. Dan Graves did with his parish.
