We pray that God will lead us into growth through creative and prayerful endeavours and missions, and respectful relationships that will foster unity in Christ. Amen.
Despite our diversity, we pray that we may have unity through inclusiveness without fear. Amen.
Almighty God, You hear the deepest yearnings of our hearts. May we hear you, and live the simplicity of the Gospel. Amen.
Lord Jesus, we pray that we will see you in each other and get down on the floor and wash feet. Alleluia! Amen.
With Jesus as our centre, we pray that we will spread the goodwill of Synod and resolve our current issues while remaining united. Amen.
Gracious God, open our hearts that others may come to know who you are through our words and actions. Help us to speak of you in our secular lives. Amen.
For the love of God, let us prayerfully be open to change, accepting, inclusive, joyful, and rejuvenating. Amen.
Glorious God, We thank you for the loving, respectful atmosphere at our Synod. Please help us carry this with us back to our congregations. In the name of Jesus Christ the risen Lord. Amen.
Lord, help us to be instruments of your peace that others may seek to know you and your saving grace. Show us the way and give us the grace and heart for the younger generations. Help us to be willing and ready to make the changes needed to be welcoming to those who do not know you, or those who have turned away from you. Give us the courage to stand on your Word, to be your disciples in our world of great need, to reach out to the lost with your immeasurable love and acceptance and forgiveness. Teach us to be people of prayer and readers of your Word and followers of your way. Amen.
Lord, we are thankful for the unity and growth of your Church. Help us to cultivate peace, inclusiveness, love, acceptance, and self-forgiveness. As a big family we want to worship you forever. Amen.
For our Church we pray that its divisions be healed, and that we continue to grow in faith and love through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For our church we pray that we will strive to be moulded into a community recognized as a light in the world by its love reflected in servanthood, respectful dialogue, holy listening, and diversity. Amen.
Dear Lord, Give us hope as we strive toward greater inclusion and deeper reconciliation. And further, that we find joy in this journey as it becomes our Innovative Discipleship in your Son’s Name. Amen.
We pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit so we fall in love more deeply with Jesus and be on fire for his mission in the world. Amen.
We pray that the Holy Spirit will nurture us, support us, and guide us in all that we do. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, you prayed for us to be united. Open our hearts to accept differences. May we have Christ-centred, grace-filled, loving conversations, and clarity in God’s time. Amen.
We pray that we will continue our ministry of servanthood, being inclusive of all who enter our community, and may we follow where the Holy Spirit leads. Amen.
Lord, we give thanks that the marriage canon discussion has brought us closer together. Now, enable us to boldly live out our faith. Amen.
Lord, we pray for you to fill our hearts with love, peace, humility, respect, and understanding so that we may grow in unity and offer joyful support and compassionate support to one another. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Lord, we pray for the energy and discernment to include all in our activities for God’s glory. Amen.
We pray for the universal Church to grow in strength and numbers through mutual respect, reconciliation, and loving understanding. Amen.
We pray that we may be together as one body, the Church. Guide us to listen, to encourage and to follow your Word. Amen
