Our heartfelt prayer for the church:
Dear God,
Help us to do justice, love mercy and to be humble. To find the courage to follow your command to love one another; all humankind.
Help us to find ways to overcome our fears and indifference that distract us on our journey. Especially our fears and indifference towards those of other cultures, faiths or sexual orientation.
Help us to continue to strive for honest self examination and reflection so that we can move toward acceptance and restitution with all your creation.
Help us to grow spiritually as a community. And as we strive to follow your son more closely help us to grow ever deeper in your love.
In Jesus’ name we pray.
