May our church, as a body and as individuals,
… be Christian communities that welcome, nurture and support all;
… be open to both pain and joy, healing, forgiving and accepting others and ourselves as we are;
… continue to evolve for the next generation in our changing and challenging world;
… know our oneness with the Earth, drawing on the learnings of our Indigenous people and cultivating God’s garden here on Earth;
… acknowledge that too many times we get it wrong, failing to live out God’s love as a church;
… remain open to the Spirit’s leading and trust in God’s guidance, growing in understanding but tempering our convictions lest they become a basis to exclude others;
