A collaborative resource for the prevention of suicide, Suicide in Our Land is a document produced by The Indigenous Theological Training Institute in collaboration with the Office of the National Indigenous Anglican Bishop for the Anglican Church of Canada. This resource is funded in part by a grant from Cook Native American Ministry Foundation.
Features include theological and spiritual reflections, stories of grief and healing, and prayers and poems for pastoral care. Drawing upon the Christian faith and Indigenous traditions, contributors offer messages of hope in times of crisis and guidance for paths through tragedy towards healing.

Participants in the consultation decided that both written and oral words were needed for pastoral care at the time of suicide. Some of the questions are challenging and emotional but the storytellers sake with honestly and experience. We are thankful for their willingness to be interviewed for this resource.
