The Galilee Report

May 1, 2009
This report responds to these two questions, posed at General Synod 2007:

  1. The theological question of whether the blessing of same-sex unions is a faithful, Spirit-led development of Christian doctrine
  2. Scripture's witness to the integrity of every human person and the question of the sanctity of human relationships

Canadian Anglicans are also invited to weigh in on these questions. Read other responses here.

The St. Michael Report

The commission released a Communiqué on January 19, 2004, that introduces the work of the commission for the period of 2004 to 2010.

  • St. Michael Report - Study Guide (disponible en français)
Guide prepared by the Faith, Worship & Ministry Committee of General Synod to help explore the report. Please consider it carefully and then share your insights, discussion, questions and suggestions with the Committee. The responses will be collated and considered in preparation for General Synod in Winnipeg 2007.
