The Global Relations program of the General Synod supports the development of relationships within the Anglican family worldwide, in service of God’s mission. Many parishes and individual Anglicans in Canada today have connections with Canadian and overseas agencies that seek financial assistance for projects and people. Fewer such relationships exist with dioceses and institutions of the Anglican Communion, who also seek partners for local mission priorities. Global Relations can assist dioceses and parishes who want to begin or strengthen existing relationships with global church partners for local mission.
