Website standards
This website has been developed to work with a wide variety of web browsers and internet connection speeds. We, the Anglican Church of Canada web team, keep track of which browsers and connection speeds our visitors use so that we can remain accessible to a wide audience. However, while any browser can view the core content of our websites, some elements (such as videos) may not work on all browsers.
If you are using Internet Explorer 6, it is strongly suggested you either upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer, or use Firefox. This update will increase security and improve your browsing experience.
We know some of our viewers have limited technology and slower connections. If you are unable to easily download Firefox (the browser we suggest), please email us your name and address, and we will send you a copy on CD.

Some sections of this website allow comments. Comments are monitored by General Synod staff to ensure that a respectful conversation can take place. We ask that comments be relatively brief and that language used is respectful to others. You must also provide your name and place of residence (city or town is adequate). Some comment areas use a third party service by IntenseDebate, an Automattic company, and your participation is guided by both our privacy standards policy, and Automattic’s terms of service and privacy policy.
Email lists
The Anglican Church of Canada uses MailChimp to manage a number of email lists. Usage of these lists is guided by both our privacy standards policy, and MailChimp’s privacy policy and terms of use.
