Many young people today in the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and New Caledonia choose to live, if only for a few years, in one of the many religious communities growing within the churches of the South Pacific. The Anglican Church of Melanesia is home to four religious orders including the indigenous Melanesian Brotherhood and Melanesian Sisters, and the indigenized Community of the Sisters of the Church and Order of Saint Francis.
- Read more about these orders and why young women and men become aspirants, novices, sisters and brothers.
- For more information about the Community of Sisters of the Church in Canada contact Sr. Margaret Hayward, Head Sister.
